Folfol

Bright and inviting dining area in Folfol restaurant, designed by Atelier MIM

Folfol – Syrian Street Food in District Central | Atelier MIM

Folfol offers authentic Syrian street food in Montreal’s District Central, in a vibrant, modern space designed by Atelier MIM.
The aim was to design a restaurant that delivers speed and convenience without sacrificing authenticity, while revitalizing a prominent corner location in District Central.
Atelier MIM brought the client’s vision to life with a vibrant restaurant design in Montreal, inspired by the iconic souks of Damascus. Featuring arches, mosaics, clay-pot lighting, and greenery, the space balances tradition and modernity. The redesigned façade anchors Folfol as both a standout dining destination and a cultural landmark in District Central.

We started with a detailed analysis of the space and the client’s objectives, then created a custom restaurant design concept inspired by Syrian heritage. Through collaborative workshops and hands-on material tests, we refined every detail to deliver a cohesive, functional, and visually captivating environment—redefining fast-casual dining in Montreal while celebrating cultural authenticity.
